<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Nurse Practitioner- Resource<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_15907<BR><BR>Providence is calling an on-call Nurse Practitioner- Resource for a rotating/variable shift position at Providence Portland Medical Center and St. Vincent''s in Portland, OR. <BR>In this position, you will:<BR><BR>* Under the auspices of Providence Behavioral Health Services, promotes quality patient care as an expert clinician, consultant, educator, and role model to medical-surgical units of the medical center.<BR>* Serve as a liaison between Behavioral Health Services and Nursing Services to promote integration of mental health concepts in the nursing care of medical-surgical patients through the provision of nursing consultation and development of interdisciplinary treatment approaches.<BR>* Provide services or create processes that ensure patients with behavioral health issues receive appropriate care and response from medical treaters in our medical center.<BR>* Coordinate transfers of medical-surgical inpatients requiring admission the psychiatric inpatient units.
