The company has enjoyed steady growth since its inception in 1982 and provides services from a network of ten offices located in California, Oregon and Washington. Our clientele is comprised of a balanced mix of private and public sector businesses, with predominance towards the industrial manufacturing, transportation, department of defense and utility marketplaces.<BR>We are recruiting continuously for qualified On-Call Deckhands, Marine Operators, Hazmat Technicians, Drivers (CDL A) and Equipment Operators.Applications are being accepted on the 1stand the 15thof every month for these positions.<BR>PRIMARY PURPOSE -<BR>To be able to work as needed for both planned and emergency response land and marine project work.<BR>ON-CALL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -<BR>* Possibility of being on-call for week long rotating shifts. When on-call, must be able to respond to spill site within 1 hour, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.<BR>* Assist in various types of spill clean up activities as needed or as available. These duties may be land or marine related for both planned and emergency response project work.<BR>* Must be able to wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, personal floatation device, eye protection and respirator as necessary.<BR>* These positions involve heavy lifting and carrying, use of hand tools, power tools, bending, stooping, shoveling and other physically demanding tasks on a daily basis.<BR>* Must be clean shaven at all times to allow immediate donning and seal of respirator.<BR>* Must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards.<BR>* Some projects may require the employee to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time.<BR>* Must be able to safely drive and perform safety checks on all vehicles for which licensed to operate.<BR>* Correct completion of all job-specific, employee related NRC paperwork including daily timesheets, driver logs and tailgate safety meeting forms.<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>MINIMUM ON-CALL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -<BR>* A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills is required along with 2-3 years experience performing related work (fire fighting, emergency response, general construction and industrial cleaning)<BR>* A valid Driver License with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets the NRC Business Driving Policy Standards is required.
