You will work with customers and physicians all over the country by telephone. No previous case management experience is necessary. We will train the right person with clinical experience in any area of nursing. <BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Contribute to the company’s success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions:<BR><BR>Evaluate medical information during file reviews and consultations with benefits staff in order assist claims staff with understanding of the medical information and how it translates into the person’s ability to work. Consult with Physicians Consultants for assistance when needed.<BR><BR>Collaborate with treating physician to promote appropriate care and treatment and successful return to work. Communicate with claimants, employers, medical treatment providers, rehabilitation counselors and other carriers such as workers’ compensation providers or HMO’s, to promote return to work.<BR><BR>Collaborate with Workplace Possibilities and benefits staff to oversee and coordinate return to work programs at specific employers.<BR><BR><BR>Ability to: Utilize computer software and hardware applications. Talk by telephone. Effectively express thought process in writing and verbally. Shift priorities to meet demands from various customer groups. Make decisions in the absence of specific direction. Facilitate group discussions. Achieve professional designation.<BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Education: BS or MS in a related field.<BR><BR>Experience: Level of experience is negotiable.
