Projects may span two or more divisions, rely on new technologies, possess large capital budgets, or have significant impact on the Information Technology infrastructure. Projects may also be critical to maintaining market-share or shareholder confidence and value, while delivering cost-effective and architecturally compatible information system solutions. Project Managers facilitate cross-functional and cross-organizational team members in a matrixed-managed environment. They are responsible for project communications, project schedule and financial management, issue and risk tracking, and change management activities. Project Managers apply their business and technical knowledge to initiate corrective actions, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverables are produced on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.<BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>KNOWLEDGE: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (i.e., dept/peer review). <BR><BR>JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
