This position requires strong payroll processing, general ledger reconciliation and payroll tax liability understanding. This person will be the right hand to the Payroll Manager and assist in work load management. Strong communication, team building and leadership skills a plus!<BR><BR>Serve in a lead analytical role for payroll department staff and projects. Provide expertise and facilitate coordination of all aspects of payroll, including assisting in the administration of the Company's employee benefit plans and assuring the accuracy and timely disbursement of payroll in accordance with Federal, state, Social Security and Department of Labor regulations.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Contribute to the company’s success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the following major job functions:<BR><BR>Lead activities of Payroll department staff. Provide expertise in all aspects of payroll reporting, including monitoring current legislative changes in light of the Company's compensation and benefits. Review reconciliation of payroll's general ledger accounts to payroll control documents. Monitor the accuracy of the department's tax calendar. Prepare responses to and/or reslove agency inquiries or other notices. Conduct research, prepare formal memorandums regarding the Federal and state taxability of compensation.<BR><BR>Facilitate and coordinate the flow of information regarding employee terminations, new hires, leaves and personnel changes between human resources and payroll. Provide information and assistance to employees with respect to the Federal, state and FICA taxability of the Company's compensation and benefit plans. <BR><BR>Administer the Company's payroll </font></td>
