Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Ensures these products or technical environments are optimally integrated with the rest of the technological environment and consistent with best practices. Stays current with the products and with the other technologies. Recommends changes to our product mix as appropriate. Recommends new or different methods of using these products or technologies. Continually increases the depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding of the products and/or technology areas. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Plans, designs, acquire and implement: LAN and/or WAN systems, telecommunication voice/wire systems, Hardware, operating systems, appliances, Middleware, ECM, and Portal solutions.<BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Knowledge: Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
