Using feedback from stakeholders, maintains in-depth knowledge of assigned product line(s), customers, competitors and marketplace and evaluates trends to inform product development and enhancement decisions. <BR><BR>The location for this position in open, within the U.S.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>The Product Development Marketing Manager/Director uses deep and broad knowledge of The Standard&rsquo;s products, services and capabilities to develop new opportunities to maintain and grow market share, collaborating with and influencing stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment between the Product team and our business partners. Defines, develops, and implements the launch of new products. Creates and presents product development business cases for prioritization. Acts as a sponsor or business lead for product development projects. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of customers, competitors, and marketplace trends. Ensures the sales force has product knowledge, training, and support to confidently sell new products. <BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Education & Experience: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in product development within the employee benefits ancillary line market. Retirement plans experience a plus. <BR><BR>Knowledge & Skills: Working knowledge of The Standard&rsquo;s products and competitor capabilities, with a particular emphasis on disability coverage, life coverage, voluntary products and corresponding contracts.
