<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate's degree in business or accounting * At least 3 years of experience in payroll or accounting * OR* any equivalent combination of experience and training * Strong skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, database applications and other software applications PREFERRED: Oracle experience JOB DUTIES: * Audit, adjust, and input invoices or time reports into on-line computerized systems, prepare batch controls for data entry, and initiate and reconcile reports. * Assist in developing methods and systems for maintaining and controlling financial systems. * Ensure that source documentation, including authorization and account distribution, is complete and accurate. * Ensure that expenditures are in compliance with agency policies and in conformity with contract or purchase order terms and conditions. * Set up and maintain master files and related records. * Audit initial set-up and changes for completeness. * Maintain records and prepare reports for proper payment of payroll taxes for Social Security, Federal and State withholding, and State unemployment compensation, including balancing and distributing annual W-2 forms. * Calculate and prepare answers related to garnishments, child support, etc., for authorized agencies. * Accumulate, calculate, and submit all changes under the pension plan for approval by Administrative Committee. * Provide trust account with all information necessary to prepare pension benefit checks. * Respond to and resolve employee and external inquiries. </font></td>
