<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: PAYROLL SPECIALIST<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>Other Locations: OR-Beaverton<BR>Job Number:_00080498<BR>As our Payroll Specialist, you'll analyze complex payroll calculations using specialized knowledge to minimize any negative impact on employee pay and records, including earnings, benefits coverage, taxes and personal deductions. You'll resolve payroll issues that require complex research, auditing and detailed knowledge of applicable areas quickly and accurately. This position may also be responsible for payroll processing, extracting system reports from SAP and formatting in Excel using advanced Excel functions and performing audit and analysis to help ensure the integrity of the payroll system. This opportunity also involves developing and maintaining close working relationships with key personnel in various business groups. You'll be involved in delivering excellent customer service to employees, by answering questions escalated by HR advisors and documenting resolution using case management tools.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Requirements for the position include:<BR>* High School diploma or GED<BR>* 3-5 years experience with multi-state payroll administration for a company with more than 1,000 employees<BR>* Experience working with an integrated payroll or human resources management system.<BR>* SAP experience preferred<BR>* Comprehensive understanding of Federal wage and hour laws, Internal Revenue Service regulations and payroll practices<BR>* Proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook<BR>* Experience using automated Time and Attendance system (Kronos preferred)<BR>* Service oriented<BR>* College-level coursework in business or accounting is preferred<BR>* Fundamental Payroll Certification or Certified Payroll Professional designation is preferred<BR><BR><BR>Job: Human Resources </font></td>
