<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Personal Care Aide Lead<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_18019<BR>Providence is calling a on-call Personal Care Aide Lead for a rotating/variable shift position at Providence Elderplace Irvington Village in Portland, OR. <BR><BR>In this position, you will:<BR><BR>* Under the direction of the Resident Care Supervisor and with clinical supervision by a Registered Nurse, the Lead Personal Care Aide is expected to serve in a leadership role with other Aides to complete all required documentation.<BR>* Assure that all care and medications are administered appropriately, to solve problems, and to communicate with the staff of the next shift.<BR>* Perform basic and routine quality care to the ElderPlace residents including assisting them in the activities of daily living and other personal care tasks.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>* High School Diploma or GED.<BR>* Current BLS and standard first aide certification.<BR>* Two years experience as a caregiver with frail elderly. <BR>* 6 months medication administration experience required and 1 year preferred.<BR>* In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
