The pharmacy technician will also assist in inventory management, third party plan processing and providing excellent customer service.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> High School Diploma. State of Oregon Pharmacy Technician licensure. Pharmacy Technician Certification. Computer keyboard experience. Excellent interpersonal communication; Knowledge base of insurance reimbursement; Knowledge of managed care environment and prior authorization guidelines; Knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word; Sucessfully completes initial and continued competencies as required for maintenance of standard of practice, legal regulatory compliance and OHSU policies. Preferred: Formal pharmacy technician training program. Minimum of one (1) year community or outpatient pharmacy experience. Medical and scientific nomenclature; Ability to utilize pharmacy technology.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> The Pharmacy Technician will experience competing demands on their time from clinic staff and/or patients and will need to effectively multi-task. Must be able to perform well within a team environment and work in a collaborative and cooperative manner. Must be able to deliver a consistantly high level of customer service. Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 continous hours per day. Additionally, this candidate will need to function for long periods of time using a computer terminal.
