               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Pharmacy Technician<BR> <BR>Department Inpatient Pharmacy<BR> <BR>Location HRC 9D40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Pharmacy Services<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> .50 FTE, Mon-Fri, every other weekend and variable shifts; Salary Range: $14.92 -20.10/hr; Location: Inpatient Pharmacy, Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position provides technical support to pharmacists through preparation of unit doses, data entry, delivery of medications, IV products, and cartfill exchange. Person working this shift is responsible for ensuring accountability and accuracy of standard operations procedures in these areas. Position works under direct supervision of a Pharmacist who is responsible for the safe and proper distribution and use of drugs in inpatients and outpatients who range in age from neonates, to the elderly.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: High School Diploma and State of Oregon Pharmacy Technician License including completion of training competencies. National pharmacy certification. Computer keyboard skills. Excellent interpersonal communication; Knowledge base of insurance reimbursement; Knowledge of managed care environment. Preferred: Formal pharmacy technician training program. Inpatient and outpatient hospital pharmacy experience. Medical and scientific nomenclature.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and noise. Flexibility in scheduling of shift times. Accountability for accuracy associated with performance of the duties to this position. Ability to stand/walk, push or pull delivery carts, bending and reaching for 6-8 continuous hours per day.<BR><BR>Maintain Pyxis movement and stock to accommodate patient needs.
