               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Pharmacy Technician - Relief<BR> <BR>Department Pharmacy Services<BR> <BR>Location HRC 9D40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> This is a Relief position; 0.003 FTE; Salary Range: $14.92 - $20.10/hour; Location: This position will provide relief work at any OHSU outpatient pharmacy - which may require travel throughout the greater Portland area. The work site is not limited to Marquam Hill or Waterfront.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The purpose of this position is to provide technical support services to licensed pharmacists at the Outpatient Pharmacies, who are responsible for the safe and proper distribution of medications to a diverse patient population. The pharmacy technician will also assist in inventory management, third party plan processing and providing excellent customer service.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: High school diploma. Pharmacy Technician Certification. State of Oregon Pharmacy Technician License, including completion of training competencies. Must possess computer keyboarding skills. Excellent interpersonal communication; Knowledge base of insurance reimbursement; Knowledge of managed care environment. Sucessfully completes initial and continued competencies as required for maintenance of standard of practice, legal regulatory compliance and OHSU policies. Preferred: Formal pharmacy technician training program. Minimum of one (1) year community or outpatient pharmacy experience. Medical and scientific nomenclature.
