Learn more atwww.dowagro.com.<BR><BR>Dow AgroSciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate the regulatory mechanisms underlying gene expression in plants. The main responsibility of this position is to identify and functionally characterize genes and proteins that contribute to embryogenic response and other regulatory functions in plants and modulate their expression leveraging EXZACTTMtechnology in corn and soybean. An interdisciplinary approach of plant molecular biology, genomics, and proteomics will be employed. The selected candidate will be interacting with a larger group of DAS scientists from various locations working in diverse functions. <BR><BR>This position is located in Portland, OR<BR><BR><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> <BR>* A PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics or comparable field, and expertise in molecular biology is required<BR>* Experience working with gene discovery, gene expression analysis, various bioinformatics tools and data mining is preferred.<BR>* Excellent oral and written communication skills are desirable. </font></td>
