The project investigators with which the candidate(s) would train are Damien Fair, PA-C, Ph.D., and Joel Nigg, Ph.D. These positions will include work in typical developing populations and in ADHD, autism, and other neurologic and psychiatric disorders.<BR>Duties will emphasize the analysis and write up of existing data for publication, presentation of data at national and international meetings, and conceptualization of the data in hand. There will also be some duties that entail supervision of project staff and data collection, but these will be flexible. Learning and training opportunities will be developed commensurate with the interests and skills of the candidate.<BR>The positions will have one year of guaranteed funding, with the expectation the applicant will apply for additional funding for subsequent years.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:<BR>* PhD in Neuroscience, engineering or related field<BR>* Ability to contribute to writing scientific papers and grant proposals<BR>* Programming experience in various languages and software (e.g., Matlab, Linux, C/C++, etc)<BR>* Strong computational background<BR>* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of diverse staff, coworkers, investigators<BR>Preferred:<BR>* PhD in Neuroscience or bio-medical engineering<BR>* Neuroimaging and stimulus presentation software (e.g., Matlab, AFNI, FSL, E-Prime, Presentation, etc)<BR>* Strong computational background (e.g., graph theory, support vector machines)<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
