               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Practice Enhancement Research Coordinator<BR> <BR>Department Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network<BR> <BR>Location EJH 411<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Please note that this position is located in Lincoln City, OR<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Monday - Friday; Slary range $38,000 - $42,000<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network (ORPRN) was established in 2002 at OHSU. ORPRN is dedicated to improving the health of and healthcare delivery to rural populations in Oregon. ORPRN facilitates a broad variety of clinical healthcare research in rural Oregon through the work of Practice Enhancement Research Coordinators (PERC). PERCs are located in rural Oregon communities, serving different regions of the state. ORPRN is accepting applications for a PERC to serve based in Lincoln City, OR.<BR>The Practice Enhancement Research Coordinator (PERC) will have several responsibilities that include:<BR>Conduct ORPRN Research<BR>* Monitor site data quality and implement quality improvement plans where applicable.<BR>* Inform ORPRN staff of issues in the field as they arise.<BR>* Consistently track projects and report status and key issues to ORPRN central research staff and investigators.<BR>Support ORPRN Member Clinics and Rural Investigators<BR>* Act as a resource for quality improvement initiatives within the practices.<BR>* Promote local networking within the assigned region to create a learning community<BR>* Provide orientation for new practice sites: conduct training/orientation sessions at practices in IRB/HIPAA and patient and/or research databases.<BR>* Provide link for clinicians in rural practices who wish to initiate research with ORPRN.<BR>Community Relations<BR>* Develop close working relationships with member practices, clinicians and clinical staff in the region, keeping a pulse of the practice and identifying areas of research interest.<BR>* Travel to new practices to recruit into the Network.<BR>* Connect rural practices to OHSU researchers and larger research vision.<BR>* Provide a conduit for the exchange of ideas across ORPRN members and investigators.<BR>* Foster good will among ORPRN members, staff and investigators.<BR>Represent and promote ORPRN with regional health systems, critical access hospitals and community health improvement organizations<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree with major coursework in field of research, sciences, or other professional degree; RN or; allied health professional<BR>* High-level computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, with data entry skills<BR>Preferred:<BR>* 1-3 years in research data collection, methodology and implementation.<BR>* 1-3 years working in primary care or interdisciplinary practice settings<BR>* Certification with ACRP, SoCRA or equivalent<BR>* Ability to create spreadsheets, data entry forms and reports<BR>* Ability to assist with study dissemination activities: write technical and academic manuscripts, prepare presentations, track EndNote references<BR>* Familiari                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         </font></td>
