Practice Optimization Manager will lead the Practice Optimization Team to (1) possess sophisticated and thorough understanding of medical practice workflows (2) lead and teach through collaborative learning models & best practices (3) drive standardized work plans and implementation of pre-approved standards (4) build process changes that will improve workflows, compliance or resolve issues (4) lead the practice optimization project including coordination, timeline scheduling, and team updates (5) work collaboratively with other members of the various centralized support teams to address all issues faced by ambulatory practices (6) consistently demonstrate superior customer relation skills at all levels.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>The Practice Optimization Manager will be expected to develop a close working relationship/partnership with the Ambulatory Medical Director for Informatics. Together, the Practice Optimization Manager and the Ambulatory Medical Director for Informatics will lead integration of standardized processes (ex: access, referrals, and patient satisfaction initiatives) across all ambulatory departments and practice areas. Together, they will serve as liaisons between the ambulatory practice areas, FPP, SOM, Hospital and Clinics and will support practices and departments through optimization efforts. Both will provide expert consultation to the leadership of the Faculty Practice Plan, Healthcare Mission, School of Medicine, Epic team(s), Hospital Operations Support, practice administrators, practice managers, and other operational leaders across ambulatory.<BR><BR>The Practice Optimization Manager will report directly to the Associate Hospital Administrator for Ambulatory and will have a dotted line reporting relationship to Chief Healthcare Information Officer.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required: Bachelors degree in healthcare, Business, Public Administration or related field. Minimum five (5) years of direct practice management experience ? no substitutions. Track record of performance improvement at the medical practice level. Experience with data mining from EMR. Ability to work in a highly autonomous role by demonstrating self-motivation and creativity in design approach. Ability to function effectively in a very dynamic team environment. Ability to proactively pursue problem resolution to satisfy customer needs. Ability to work with users to accurately assess and diagnose system problems as defined by the user.
