We believe our employees are the foundation of our Company's success, and we are committed to continuous learning and quality, focusing on the customer, respect and accountability, flexibility, and good relationships with others.<BR>The successful candidate will apply extensive technical expertise to develop new and improve existing product designs, including development, analysis, prototyping, and testing.<BR><BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<BR>* Plans, conducts and implements product research, development, prototyping and testing to create superior designs of new and/or upgraded products for complex or high impact product designs, using Pro–E 3-D CAD modeling software.<BR>* Performs extensive engineering design analyses to determine appropriate targets and tolerances for product specifications.<BR>* Project management to include defining and documenting project parameters; developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules; providing production and technical support in product design process.<BR>* Works closely with a wide variety of internal and external customers to define, meet, or exceed design parameters.<BR>* Provides technical recommendations for product line and identifies areas of opportunity for new products based on market direction and customer needs.<BR>* Communicates technical concepts and information clearly and effectively through formal and informal documents, in non-technical terms as appropriate.<BR><BR>EDUCATION:<BR>* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent Engineering discipline is required.<BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:<BR>* Five or more years of relevant mechanical product design experience including exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.<BR>* Advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes highly preferred.<BR>* Solid hands on experience with FEA, GD&T, Dynamics Analysis, SPC, and high speed assembly fabrication analysis desired.<BR>* Proficiency with 3-D modeling is required (Pro-E or SolidWorks strongly preferred).<BR>* Experience with heat treat metallurgy, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a plus.<BR>* Adept at problem solving; must be proactive and action oriented for timely prob </font></td>
