With more than 4 million members, Nike is the world&#39;s largest running club and is the industry-standard in terms of helping athletes reach their goals.<BR><BR>As our Product Design Engineer for Digital Sport, you&#39;ll interface with Sr. Engineering Leads and Industrial Design teams to create innovative products and experiences. You&#39;ll be responsible for creating mechanical designs and the generation of new technologies required to deliver concepts that meet the industrial design intent of consumer electronic products. You&#39;ll work with product teams to serve as a mechanical engineering resource to enable innovation and inline product creation. You&#39;ll use concept sketches, engineering design/ideas, and other communication methods to assure clear understanding of technological capabilities and limitations of mechanical systems and manufacturing methods. You&#39;ll work with Industrial Design resources using CAD and other tools to analyze engineering structure, materials, and product designs. You&#39;ll enable close collaboration between engineering, industrial design, and consumer experience teams. You&#39;ll create specifications and quotation documentation in order to efficiently lead external professional services firms (domestic and international) and factories to create prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and product concepts for the Digital Sport team. In addition, you&#39;ll be accountable for remaining connected with state-of-the-art innovations across the materials, manufacturing, and mechanical design industries.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>* Bachelor&#39;s degree in an engineering degree, preferably Mechanical engineering<BR>* Minimum 5 years&#39; relevant work experience<BR>* Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, preferably within a consumer electronic / sport product setting<BR>* Understanding of product quality control techniques, test creation and specification validation<BR>* <BR>Demonstrated experience exploring new technologies, materials, or processes that meet forward-looking industrial design or marketing requirements<BR>* <BR>Excellent creativity and problem solving<BR>* Strong communication and presentation skills<BR>* Must have the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously<BR>* High-level understanding of adjacent technical disciplines (industrial design and electrical engineering)<BR>* Experience working closely with Industrial Design teams to preserve design is essential<BR>* Proficiency in parametric modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks, Pro/E)<BR>* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time<BR>* Passion for sports<BR><BR>Job: Product                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              </font></td>
