<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">REQUIREMENTS: * High School diploma or GED * At least 2 years of formal technical training * At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment * Advanced machine operation and mechanical knowledge including the ability to set up and change over various types of equipment * Advanced shop math and computer skills * Understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD& T), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and metrology fundamentals and apply concepts while measuring components and / or finished tools * Advanced experience using level optical comparators, hardness testers and height gauges * Advanced blueprint reading and problem solving skills * Demonstrated skills in manual dexterity and rate control PREFERRED: * Three years of technical job experience with progressively complex machining assignments * Demonstrated knowledge of at least 75% of all Production Machine Operator Level I and Level II operations * Experience operating CNC equipment * Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production systems JOB DUTIES: * Read, comprehend and write English at an advanced level to effectively utilize and interpret Material Safety Data Sheet's (MSDS), work instructions, and technical manuals. * Operate and set-up a variety of cutlery grinding machines (such as Berger, Siepmann) to close tolerances and complex geometry. * Perform difficult set-ups and change-overs on equipment to close and complex tolerances and may include numerical control and/or robot programming. * Operate a variety of machinery to fabricate component parts. * Monitor output and proper operation of mechanical equipment. * Make mechanical and / or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements as necessary. * Conduct regular quality audits of parts produced by measuring and inspecting components to tight tolerances. * Prepare recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality. * Mix chemical solutions. * Perform duties of Production Machine Operator Level I and Level II as necessary. * Use creativity in inspection methodology when it is not pre-defined. * Apply problem sensitivity, critical thinking and advanced problem solving skills. * Demonstrate excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork. * Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. * Work independently and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative. * Effectively prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects. </font></td>
