You will improve systems utilized to achieve department plant goals, support and maintain a safe and secure workplace for the assigned department or shift, and contribute to long-term planning and development.<BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INLCUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO<BR>* Lead manufacturing operations, including meeting production targets, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving production problems<BR>* Lead and support Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S activities<BR>* Participate as a member of Production Supervisor Team<BR>* Establish departmental goals, targets and objectives<BR>* Select and train team members to meet production and quality standards, ISO compliance and delivery schedules<BR>* Monitor department budget, spending and labor expenses<BR>* Ensure a safe and environmentally friendly work environment<BR>EDUCATION<BR>* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Technology preferred.<BR>EXPERIENCE<BR>* At least three years supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment, including scheduling, workflow, and independent decision making in a multiple shift operation<BR>* Experience leading Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S Initiatives<BR>* SAP or other Tier 1 ERP system preferred<BR>* Experience with SPC<BR>SKILLS<BR>* Demonstrated skills in Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S techniques<BR>* Excellent leadership and facilitation skills<BR>* Must be able to think on your feet to solve problems and meet schedules<BR>* Ability to effectively lead change<BR>* Team building skills<BR>* Strong oral and written communication skills<BR>* Excellent independent judgment and decision making skills<BR>* Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite<BR>* Presentation skills very helpful<BR>EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE<BR>* Excellent 401(k) pla </font></td>
