               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Professional Practice Leader, Ambulatory - Oncology<BR> <BR>Department Nursing Professional Practice<BR> <BR>Location OHS 13B16<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> FTE: 1.0; Schedule: Monday - Friday; Salary range: $77,000 - $115,500 annually; Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Professional Practice Leader will be responsible for upholding excellence in the provision of nursing care through implementation of the professional Practice Model and evidence-based standards of care. The Professional Practice Leader possesses broad nursing knowledge and clinical expertise in a specialty area. Functions as a clinical resource, conducts and facilitates patient care consultation in conjunction with direct care nurses, and provides resources to assess the impact of appropriate practice on patient outcomes.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Valid Oregon RN License; Requires BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. BSN graduate degree. Current clinical certification in area of specialty (obtained within one year of hire). Three (3) - five (5) years of current clinical expertise in ambulatory oncology. Strong communication skills, teamwork (demonstrated ability to build team and integrate existing teams). Preferred: CNS or Masters in Nursing.
