With services like naturopathy, acupuncture, mental health, physical therapy, midwifery, obstetrics, gynecology (and related subspecialties), and internal medicine, the Center for Women?s Health has an innovative and collaborative approach to providing care for women from throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.<BR><BR>General Duties:<BR><BR>The Division Head will be responsible for overseeing the clinical, research, teaching and advocacy missions within the Division of Primary Care. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology in furtherance of the university?s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.<BR><BR>As a member of the faculty, the division head will provide clinical care to patients of the University Hospital and Clinics, and affiliated hospitals and clinics; teach medical students, house staff and the regional medical community; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups as approved by the Department Chair; participate in the administration of the School of Medicine as appointed by the Committee on Committees and approved by the Dean.<BR><BR>Leadership: The Primary Care Division head will provide effective leadership to the division and its faculty in accordance with OHSU and Department policies and procedures.<BR><BR>Division heads are expected to excel in a wide spectrum of leadership competencies.<BR>? Program Management-Delegates work, sets priorities, establishes timelines, manages change, and manages resources effectively.<BR>? Program Vision & Development-Develops viable initiatives, build sustainable programs.<BR>? Leadership Others- Empowers and mentors others and demonstrates a balanced flexible and fair approach to leadership.<BR><BR>Administration:<BR>As a clinical faculty leader, this faculty member will be responsible for outpatient and inpatient primary care services, to include faculty staffing assignments and the development of a faculty based primary care practice.
