In this role, the project manager will work under general direction performing complex technical analysis and planning for proposed projects from start of project through to completion.? Incumbent will have authority to accomplish project responsibilities, including directing, coordinating,?and communicating through?all stages of assigned projects.?<BR><BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in pre-contract?meetings/discussions and quote negotiations<BR><BR>Meet and confer with customer's agents?as needed?or required<BR><BR>Review sales contracts to ensure?accuracy of technical specifications and appropriateness of commercial terms<BR><BR>Select vendors and issue purchase orders based on quality, compliance with customer specifications, price, and?availability<BR><BR>Prepare engineering submittals; communicate?with?customer engineering?personnel on technical questions<BR><BR>Provide other technical support and work/cost estimates as may be?required tot the sales team<BR><BR>Coordinate materials delivery and production scheduling; arrange for shipments and expedite as needed to meet all deadlines<BR><BR>Ensure?quality control; initiate inspections, arrange for shop tests, site tests, and training as needed<BR><BR>Maintain oversight control of all projects within department; provide assistance and guidance as needed<BR><BR>Stay current on relevant engineering technology, company policies and procedures.? Encourage and participate in development of cost improvements<BR><BR>Close out projects, including cost/profit calculations and invoice preparation.?
