If you&rsquo;re looking for something different and rewarding, the next journey you make could begin here.<BR><BR><BR><BR>General Position Summary:<BR><BR>Ensure the timely, accurate and efficient operation of the shipping & receiving functions of the store. Provide floor coverage as needed.<BR><BR>Essential Functions/Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Drive the product flow process in the store by receiving daily shipments and distributing to sales floor as directed. <BR><BR>Prepare, record and distribute all customer shipping orders. Monitor speed and accuracy of deliveries.<BR><BR>Provide customer service and sales support on the sales floor and needed or when requested by management.<BR><BR>Perform all required cash register transactions such as sales and exchanges expeditiously and with a high level of accuracy, while staying within company guidelines. <BR><BR>Utilize sales skills and techniques as well as exceptional customer service to drive store sales. Customers may need assistance both in person and on the phone. Greet and engage customers when on the sales floor.<BR><BR>Provide information to customers on current product features and benefits. Requires maintaining current and accurate knowledge of product features, benefits and availability.<BR><BR>Maintain organization & cleanliness of shipping area.<BR><BR>Maintain a high professional standard in individual behavior, courtesy and respect.<BR><BR>Demonstrate the ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment.<BR>Assist in other store functions as needed.<BR><BR><BR>Secondary Functions:<BR><BR>Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other team members in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the store. <BR><BR>Perform other duties as assigned.<BR><BR>Job Scope:<BR><BR>Job has some variety in terms of customer contact and needs. Incumbent follows well-established store practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions and goals and work is checked or verified visually and by results. Decisions are made within specific store policy constraints and there is always someone on duty to resolve questions or queries. Errors in judgment could affect the profitability of the outlet store by affecting customer satisfaction.<BR><BR>Interpersonal Contacts:<BR><BR>Contacts are made with others both inside and outside the organization.
