The main purposes of the Oral Radiology Clinic are to deliver quality imaging services to our patients and provide educational training to the dental students . The applicant must have hands-on experience taking images,including digital images,so that they can learn the philosophy & techniques used at the School of Dentistry.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct imaging services with quality care, compassion, & consideration to each patient, while maintaining appropriate professional standards. In addition, the technicianshallhelptoprovide a learning experience for each dental student in accurate receptor placement techniques, exposure, capture & mounting of both intraoral & extraoral images, and utilization of appropriate asepsis protocols.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting Program; experience with xcp instrumentsand digital imaging techniques; experience exposing and mounting both film and digitalimages; experience with electronic health records; experience scanning images. The ability tomultitask and prioritize duties,effectively communicate with co-workers, students, patients etc.,work independently without close supervision on a daily basis,work within a team environment, be punctual & reliable.
