The salary range for this position is $64,872 - $97,308/year. This position is located on Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Diagnostic Radiology/X-Ray Clinical Supervisor coordinates general x-ray department functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow. Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum. Partners with the Radiology Nurses, medical support staff, PAS, Physicians, Floor and Clinic Nurses, technicians and other disciplines to assure quality patient/family centered care in a safe and efficient manner. Works with the Student Coordinator in support of the overall supervision of Portland Community College and Oregon Institute of Technology Radiography Programs. This includes ensuring compliance with PCC?s and JCERT requirements for the program and supervision of the Radiology students. Performs general x-ray duties as required. Performs other duties as assigned.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: ARRT Registered in Radiography. OBMI License. Valid BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program that meets current qualifications to take and pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) board examinations. Prefer and AA or Bachelors degree. Two (2) years of Management/Lead Tech experience. Two (2) years of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center. Must have the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care the completeness and appropriateness of exams ordered. Must have good judgement.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> This position works in a busy environment with a lot of interruptions, multiple demands and people interactions. It requires being exposed to noise, radiation, and human tissue/fluids. Must be able to be an On-Call Administrator on Duty on nights and weekends eight (8) times a year.
