<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Registered Nurse<BR> <BR>Department Pediatric Float Pool<BR> <BR>Location OHS 9C40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Pediatric Float Pool, OHS 9C40<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 0.9 FTE; 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) including every other weekend; Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Registered Nurse assumes primary responsibility for and provides direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses patient's needs, develops plan of care, implements and evaluates nursing care: provides education and consultation to staff, students, patients and community. Age specific scope of practice Newborn, Pediatric, Adolescent and Adult (if assigned; Mothers on MBU).<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> REQUIRED: Current unencumbered state of Oregon nursing license. BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Three (3) years current RN pediatric experience with various ages in a high acuity acute care setting. NRP and PALS required. Excellent verbal and written communication. Dependable work history. Verifiable by reference: Teams skills, excellent time management, work habits and customer service. PREFERRED: BSN. Two (2) year commitment to float pool. Specialty Certification.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Orientation: Two (2) weeks. Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Possible exposure to body substances. Abitlity to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand, walk throughout the shift.
