The Registered Nurse assesses patient's needs, develops plan of care, implements and evaluates nursing care: provides education and consultation to staff, students, patients and community. Age specific scope of practice Newborn, Pediatric, Adolescent and Adult (if assigned; Mothers on MBU).<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> REQUIRED: Current unencumbered state of Oregon nursing license. BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Three (3) years current RN pediatric experience with various ages in a high acuity acute care setting. NRP and PALS required. Excellent verbal and written communication. Dependable work history. Verifiable by reference: Teams skills, excellent time management, work habits and customer service. PREFERRED: BSN. Two (2) year commitment to float pool. Specialty Certification.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Orientation: Two (2) weeks. Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Possible exposure to body substances. Abitlity to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand, walk throughout the shift.
