The RN assesses patient's needs, develops a plan of care, implements and evaluates nursing care, provides education and consultation to staff, students, patients and community. Age specific scope of practice Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent. Professional Nursing Practice Responsibilities: Develop, interpret, implement and document a plan of care for each patient and safely deliver this care. Functions under age specific practice model of assigned unit: Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac & Medical ICU, Cardiac & Surgical ICU, Intermediate Cardiac Unit, PACU and ED.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Current, unencumbered Oregon Nursing License, BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross and ACLS. Three (3) years current RN critical care experience in a high acuity critical care setting. Completion of a critical care internship or equivalent. Float within assigned units. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Verifiable by reference: dependable work history, excellent time management and team skills, work habits and customer service. Preferred: CCRN<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Possible exposure to body substances.
