<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Registered Nurse<BR> <BR>Department Critical Care Float Pool<BR> <BR>Location OHS 9C40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR>NRM Critical Care Float Pool, OHS 9C40<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 0.9 FTE, 12-hour nights, 1900 - 0730, including every other weekend; Location: Marquam Hill campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Registered Nurse assumes primary responsibility for and provides direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses patient's needs, develops plan of care, implements and evaluates nursing care: provides education and consultation to staff, students, patients and community. Age specific scope of practice Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Current, unencumbered Oregon Nursing License and BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS certification. Three (3) years current critical care experience as an RN in a high acuity critical care setting. Completion of a critical care internship or equivalent. Float within assigned units. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstration of critical thinking skills, must be able to work independently and make sound decisions with follow through, in a fast-paced environment. Verifiable by reference: dependable work history, excellent time management and team skills, work habits and customer service. Preferred: BSN, CCRN, two (2) year commitment to float pool.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> One month orientation period. Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Possible exposure to body substances. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, walk, sit at computer, reach, push, pull, climb stairs, throughout shift.
