               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Registered Nurse Coordinator- Clinical Educator Neuroscience<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_17391<BR>Providence is calling a full-time Nurse Coordinator- Clinical Educator Neuroscience for a day shift position at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. <BR><BR>In this position, you will:<BR><BR>* Be responsible for providing training and education for a variety of neurological programs (e.g. epilepsy, Parkinson''s, dementia, headache, etc.,) to patients, family members, and professional/allied health providers. <BR>* Help facilitate a connected and coordinated care model via the development of care protocols, in conjunction with physicians and other program personnel, to ensure a cohesive patient experience across our neuroscience and Providence care continuum. Includes, but not limited to providing information to patient populations related to changes in care plans and referrals to appropriate internal and external resources. <BR>* Assist program physicians to ensure compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and will support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients? individual physical, ethnic, cultural, or age-related needs.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>* BSN. <BR>* Current Oregon RN license required. <BR>* Minimum of 3 years experience required; 5 years preferred. <BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>*  American Association of Neuroscience Nursing membership and certification preferred. <BR>* MSN preferred.<BR>* 1-3 years experience in an Ambulatory setting preferred. <BR>* Experience working with patients with neurological conditions and their families preferred.<BR>* Experience leading formal educational forums/in-services preferred. <BR><BR><BR><BR>About Providence in Oregon<BR><BR>As the largest health care system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.<BR><BR>The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
