<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Registered Nurse- Housing<BR>Location: Oregon-Portland<BR>Job Number:_18178<BR><BR>Providence is calling a part-time Registered Nurse-Housing for a variable shift position at Providence Elderplace-Cully in Portland, OR.<BR><BR><BR><BR>In this position, you will:<BR>* Provide and supervise nursing care for residents of Elderplace program housing. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act and Oregon Administrative Rules for Assisted Living Facilities.<BR>* Apply knowledge of the nursing processes along with delegating, teaching and monitoring to promote optimal health and independence for patients.<BR>* Apply a broad range of general nursing knowledge, skills and expertise. In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice area are crucial.<BR>* Participate in clinical teams and supervise, assign or delegate nursing tasks to Personal Care Aides (PCAs). <BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR><BR>Qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>Required<BR>* Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.<BR>* Current BLS required at time of hire.<BR>One year RN experience with frail elderly.Two years of Long Term care or Community-Based care experience.<BR><BR>Preferred<BR>* Bachelors Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.<BR>* One year acute care RN experience preferred.<BR> <BR>About Providence in Oregon<BR><BR>As the largest health care system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.<BR><BR>The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
