               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Registered Nurse - Resource<BR> <BR>Department Interventional Recovery Unit<BR> <BR>Location OHS 11C70<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Interventional Recovery Unit, UHS 11C<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> This is a resource position. Mon - Fri night shift 7:00pm - 7:00am, PRN. Variable Shifts as needed and may include some on-call responsibility. RESOURCE NURSE positions are required to work at least 352 hours each fiscal year and at least 24 hours per month. Any shift worked at the request of the manager shall count toward meeting the minimum hourly obligation for the month or the year. Shifts worked at the request of the manager are defined as unfilled shifts to which the resource nurse is assigned prior to the posting of the schedule or shift worked at the manager?s request during the posted work cycle. The Resource RN must also work a major holiday each fiscal year provided work is available and the resource nurse is needed.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Registered Nurse working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team has the primary responsibility for and provides direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL), Angio/Interventional Radiology (IR), Radiology, and Perianesthesia patients. The Registered Nurse assesses patient and family needs, develops a plan of care, implements, and evaluates the care delivered. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice in accordance with professional standards and governing bodies, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence. The Registered Nurse working in the IRU cares for patients of all ages, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate to ensure quality care delivery.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Current State of Oregon Registered Nurse license. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association. ACLS & PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire. Two (2) years Critical Care or like unit experience. Pediatric experience preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Variable shifts located at OHSU Marquam Hill; exposure to human tissue/fluids. Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
