The salary range for this position is $22.16-30.09/hour. This position is located on Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Emergency Transport Coordinator provides coordination of critical transport and emergency communications of severely injured and/or ill patients to OHSU or other tertiary care centers from either emergency scenes or medical facilities. This position is responsible to multiple entities for the timely and accurate transmission of information regarding patient conditions, receiving facility capabilities and status, and the arrangement and coordination of all aspects regarding these patients. The work requires specialized knowledge of hospital operations, including all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This work also requires in-depth knowledge of all aspects of emergency patient transportation, including rotor-wing and fixed-wing flight procedures.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> One year EMS dispatching required, OR 1 year hospital transfer center coordination preferred. Will consider 1 year hospital bed placement coordination demonstrated ability towork in a high stress high acuity setting, to adapt to rapidly changing work environment, to direct and control multiple critical communications events simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills, database skills, type 45 wpm, multi-line phones, radio communications, medical terminology, highly skilled in verbal communications.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Oregon Health & Science University values a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
