               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Relief Medical Assistant (MA)<BR> <BR>Department OHSU Family Medicine at South Waterfront<BR> <BR>Location CHH 9th Floor<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> .003 FTE; RELIEF; Schedule: Varies 6:30 AM - 8:30 PM Mon - Friday, Rotate Saturday 8:30 AM - 1:30PM. Salary: $14.57- $19.64/ hour; Location: Center for Health and Healling at South Waterfront.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> To provide patient care under the license and supervision the provider/clinician of record. Day to day reports to the Practice Manager and Team Lead. Provides care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients and their families. Provides support to other clinic personnel, including physicians, residents, PAs, nurse practitioners, RNs, and LPNs and non-clinical personnel, including front office, medical records, billing and referrals.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Graduation from an accredited school; Current CMA certificate from American Association of Medical Assistants; Recent and direct patient care experience; Phlebotomy skills; Recent experience with culturally diverse patient population; Interest and aptitude to work with Family Medicine patients; Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills; Recent experience with Family Medicine patient populations; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to multi-task and work independently; Current CPR certificate. Requires BLS certification issued by American Heart Association. 12 months of customer service preferred. Recent and diverse medical assisting experience preferred. Ambulatory care experience preferred; Experience in Primary Care practice preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Changing positions throughout the day. Frequent: Standing on carpeted surface and hard surface floors; Sitting in office chair; Twisting from waist while on the telephone to reach supplies, etc.; Walking around clinic on carpeted and hard surface floors. Occasional: May have to carry/lift objects, supplies, boxes, and pediatric patients, up to 25 pounds; May have to push or pull cart with charts; May be required to assist with patient transportation, repositioning of adult patients; Bending from the waist to pick up children, boxes, etc.; Reaching of charts in Medical Records, reaching for telephone, etc. Oregon Health and Science University values a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
