               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Research & Finance Administrator<BR> <BR>Department Center for Regenerative Medicine<BR> <BR>Location MRB 108<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> The Research & Finance Administrator's general responsibilities encompass managing the business operations and fiscal planning and execution of the OHSU Center for Regenerative Medicine (OCRM) -- a research center reporting to the Vice President for Research (VPR). The position will provide expertise in the areas of finance, to include fiscal analysis, financial reporting, annual budget, expense control, strategic planning, and all phases of grant submissions, including pre-award and post-award processes.<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary range $58,956 - $88,536<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>Key Responsibilities:<BR>* Financial Management: Manage all financial aspects of the OCRM enterprise operations including but not limited to; generation and interpretation of financial reports, annual budget (assumptions, preparation, implementation and monitoring), management of disbursements and payroll, faculty compensation, financial analysis, grants administration.<BR>* Grants Management/Administration: Work directly with faculty on planning and development of grant proposals for submission to various federal agencies, private agencies, foundations and commercial entities. This includes providing instruction on protocol, regulations and guidelines pertinent to the agency and OHSU. Responsible for all aspects of grant administration, including budget preparations, monitoring disbursements and payroll, compliance, reporting, liaison with RGC, SPA, and OHSU Research Integrity Office (ORIO).<BR>* Strategic Planning: In collaboration with the Director and the VPR Office, develop, implement and monitor departmental operating and strategic plans and the policies necessary to support them. Attend internal planning and policy meetings as appropriate. Develop and socialize OCRM operational processes with best practices in mind. Utilize all available OHSU resources (Research Administration Training & Education, Research Funding & Development Services, etc.)<BR>* Compliance/Integrity/Regulatory Management: monitor all applicable regulatory requirements, commitments, and timelines to ensure OCRM compliance. Communicate applicable IRB, IACUC, IBC, and other policies to researchers within OCRM. Assist OCRM researchers with managing compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.<BR>* Miscellaneous oversight of OCRM operational issues, including space and facilities management, administration, etc.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in related field.<BR>* Five years experience in fiscal management position.<BR>* Three to five years of grant pre and post award experience including submission and management of complex, multi-site consortia, federal and non-federal contracts, interdepartmental center grants and program projects.<BR>* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
