The primary responsibilities will be to conduct research assessments and chart reviews for research participants with chronic pain and a substance-related disorder. Assessments will include psychological evaluation of mental health and addictive disorders. The research assistant will also assist with IRB-related tasks, complete data entry, prepare databases for statistical analyses, and coordinate study recruitment. The research program includes studies examining issues of chronic pain in patients with co-occurring substance abuse, mental health, and/or medical disorders.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Minimum Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor's degree<BR>* A history of working in a clinical research setting is also necessary.<BR>* Exceptional interpersonal skills and is detail-oriented,<BR>* Has working knowledge of traditional computing software (Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint) and statistical software. The position requires sufficient computer knowledge to interface with a variety of database, statistical, and processing software.<BR>Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Preference will be given to applicants with a graduate degree in mental health (e.g., clinical or counseling psychology, social work).<BR>* Applicants must have prior coursework and clinical experience working with individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.<BR>* Two or more years of research experience in a clinical setting is preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
