The study coordinator duties include, but are not limited to: IRB responsibilities, dissemination of the study, patient identification, completion of recruitment goals, consenting process, regular follow-up with completion of questionnaires and processing and storing of sample collections, completion of eCRF, shipment of samples, collaboration with recruiting center outside OHSU, track study enrollment and maintain weekly/monthly reports for PI. The candidate will meet regularly with Dr. McEvoy, be responsible for patient schedules, participate in a night call schedule for deliveries, assist in the submission of IRB material, and may assist in the performance of infant pulmonary function tests and study billing. Study recruitment sites will include clinics delivering at OHSU, PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, and Providence Hospital. Experience in research coordination is desired/required with the ability to work independently with some flexibility in working hours for overnight and weekend coverage of deliveries.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Minimum Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor's degree, RN, or LPN with equivalent combination of education and experience<BR>* Must have excellent communication skills<BR>* Proficency with Microsoft Office programs<BR>* Experience with electronic medical records<BR>* Ability/Willingness to perform venipunture and other specimen collection<BR>* Experience in research coordination is desired/required with the ability to work independently with some flexibility in working hours for overnight and weekend coverage of deliveries<BR>* MS Excel, MS Word, Epic and/or other Clinical systems<BR>* Excellent communication and organizational skills<BR>* Experience in creating templates<BR>Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Advanced degree<BR>* LPN or RN preferred<BR>* Five year commitment to the study preferable, and show ability to maintain excellent cohort retention of randomized pregnant women through the pregnancy and of their infants through 12 months of life<BR>* Healthcare related experience<BR>* Experience with patient population<BR>* Experience with Clinical Trials or Research Protocols<BR>* Experience in maternal and child health care<BR>* Experience with Power Point , electronic data bases<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
