A successful candidate will be able to carry out and troubleshoot complex experiments involving animal handling and behavior, drug delivery, and immunological methods of analysis.<BR>Key Responsibilities:<BR>* Animal husbandry and experimentation.<BR>* Isolation of cells from the blood and tissues of rodents and subsequent sterile cell culture and immunological analysis including ELISA, ELISPOT, FACs, etc.<BR>* Reagent preparation including cell culture media, assay buffers, and antibody dilutions.Interface with IACUC and OHSU animal and human regulatory committees for research compliance and research amendments as necessary.<BR>* General lab maintenance, ordering, and occasional supervision of student interns.<BR>* Additional duties as assigned by investigator relating to data organization and analysis.<BR>* Assist in writing manuscripts and grant applications.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Requirements include:<BR>* Bachelor's of Science in Biology with 1 years of practical laboratory experience and demonstrated ability to run immunological assays.<BR>* Familiarity and proficiency with animal models, preferably rodents.<BR>* Mammalian cell culture experience.<BR>* Organized in data collection, analysis, and presentation.<BR>* Weekend and occasional off-hours work as research demands.<BR>Preferred qualifications include:<BR>* Bachelor's of Science with 5+ years of practical lab experience with tissue culture and immunological assay development and troubleshooting.<BR>* 2 years working with mice in a research laboratory.<BR>* Proficiencies in MS Office, Graphpad Prism and Adobe Creative Suite.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
