Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating study visits, conducting assessments, ensuring proper completion of the protocol, entering and managing data, and handling administrative tasks. Many study visits are conducted in the community, thus the candidate is required to have his or her own reliable transportation. There is extensive contact with elderly volunteers which requires extraordinary patience and personal skills to build rapport and ensure a positive experience. The responsibilities require close and consistent attention to detail, as well as sensitivity to confidential information. The position will work closely with other study staff and investigators and thus requires a collaborative work ethic.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Minimum Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree with major courses in field of research or; RN or; allied health professional<BR>* High level of computer proficiency.<BR>* Experience in the duties listed<BR>* Excellent organizational and communication skills<BR>* Ability to work independently with general supervision.<BR>* Extensive experience in Portland?s African American community required..<BR>* Many study visits are conducted in the community, thus the candidate is required to have his or her own reliable transportation.<BR><BR>Preferred:<BR>* Research experience and interest in gerontology and psychology.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
