The department combines cell biology and biochemistry to explore the signaling pathways controlling the formation of the cerebral cortex. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize a variety of projects; work effectively with the principle investigator and graduate students; and independently solve problems.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Requirements include a Bachelor?s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or major courses in field of research; excellent oral and written communication, organization, and time management skills; and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in molecular or cell biology and microbiology and independent research with an undergraduate thesis project.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Applicants must be willing and able to work in the laboratory space and adjacent common equipment rooms; conduct additional work regarding mice in the vivarium; move small pieces of equipment up to 15 pounds; and conduct some microscopic dissection work.<BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
