               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Research Associate<BR> <BR>Department Oregon Clinical & Translational Institute (OCTRI)<BR> <BR>Location CHH 15000<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> <BR>* FTE: 1.0<BR>* Salary Range: $38,000 - $48,000 annually<BR>* Location: OHSU Marquam Hill, Portland OR<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>The OCTRI is a large and complex NIH-funded program that creates an ?academic home? for clinical and translational research; expands and builds upon current education curriculum to engage, train, and nurture new inter-disciplinary investigators; and creates a coordinated infrastructure of core research tools and services.<BR>The duties of this position include:<BR>* Assists the Program Director, Manager, and other ISIS staff with independent coordination of academic research initiatives regarding all aspects of clinical research<BR>* Provides assistance to investigators including Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, Data and Safety Monitoring Board meting Coordination, grant submissions, protocol development and other regulatory submissions<BR>* Good Clinical Practice Monitoring for Investigator Initiated IND/IDE studies<BR>* Assists with submission and maintenance of INDs and IDEs<BR>* Assists with other tasks as requested<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:<BR>* Master's Degree,ORBachelor's Degree with 4 additional years related experienceORRN with 4 additional years of experience,ORallied health professional degree with 4 additional years of experience<BR>* 3 years related research experience including research administration is required; this does not count towards the possible additional 4 years outlined above<BR>* Demonstrated knowledge of basic research design and concepts<BR>* Proficient in computer applications including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint<BR>* Must be detail oriented and able to track multiple projects simultaneously<BR>* Must be able to problem solve, take initiative and have strong oral and written communication skills<BR>* Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet multiple deadlines<BR>Preferred:<BR>* Master's Degree preferred<BR>* Experience preparing FDA submissions and GCP monitoring preferred<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
