This position will coordinate with faculty and staff on the departmental and institutional levels to develop budgets, coordinate with pre-award staff on grant proposals and contracts, and facilitate progress reports, carry forward requests, and no cost extensions in an accurate and timely manner. The Supervisor will also assist in the financial management of all Family Medicine grants through grant purchasing, budget reconciliation, and expense reporting. Other grant responsibilities include: assisting research faculty with initial IRB applications, troubleshooting grant related issues, and providing guidance to University resources. This position will also perform labor distribution for all Family Medicine employees and manage the effort certification statement process within the department. The Supervisor will also assist the Director with research infrastructure activities. This position will supervise 2 support staff.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Requirements include:<BR>* Bachelor?s Degree in Business or Health Administration, or similar field<BR>* A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in research administration dealing with proposal/award reviews and grant financial management<BR>* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Adobe Acrobat<BR>* Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills<BR>* Strong mathematical skills and be detail oriented<BR>* Ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment<BR>* Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner<BR>* A strong knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to grants management including OMB Circulars A21 and A110.<BR>Preferred qualifications:<BR>* Master?s degree in Business or Health Administration or similar field.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
