That&rsquo;s where you come into the picture.<BR>Position Summary:<BR>Responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of control-related standards and procedures, systems and best practices with regard to inventory for 60+ retail stores.  Additionally, the position is responsible for reconciling the physical inventories for the purpose of maintaining accurate perpetual records.  The Retail Inventory Control Supervisor will direct and oversee the activities of the Retail Inventory Control team and will function as a liaison between Accounting, Retail Operations, Loss Prevention, Merchandise Planning and Columbia&rsquo;s Distribution Centers.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>Lead and develop Retail Inventory Control Team members. Team ensures accurate perpetual inventory records through:<BR>Identification and resolution of store receiving, transfer and RTV issues<BR>Three-way invoice match to ensure units shipped are properly recorded<BR>Verification of perpetual records through the performance of physical inventory counts.<BR>Drive enhanced understanding of inventory control processes at store and corporate levels.<BR>Collaborate with cross-functional departments (IT, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, DC, etc.) to research retail inventory discrepancies and to drive shrink reduction.<BR>Compile, analyze and distribute monthly Inventory Adjustment reports.<BR>Manage the performance of annual physical inventory counts at all stores, from procedure manual development to reconciliation and reporting of results<BR>Requires close partnership with Loss Prevention and third party counting service.<BR>Schedule and conduct other physical inventory counts as necessary.<BR>Reconcile perpetual inventory records to G/L monthly.<BR>Special projects as identified.<BR>Maintain working knowledge of Retail Sales Audit processes and procedures.<BR>Manages two or more Retail Inventory Control team members.<BR>Requirements<BR>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or equivalent from 4-year college or equivalent retail management experience/education. <BR>CPA a strong plus<BR>At least five (3-5) years related work experience in retail inventory, financial analysis or related field<BR>Experience of retail operations, accounting and/or merchandising.<BR>High proficiency (e.g., create and maintain database files) in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.<BR>Proven success in developing and coaching staff.<BR>Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to envision new processes and integrate systems into current processes.<BR>Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.<BR>Ability to express ideas and opinions to all levels of personnel, including management in va                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </font></td>
