               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">RN Leave Administration<BR> <BR>Department Healthcare Human Resources<BR> <BR>Location HRC 9D60E<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Schedule: M - F 8:00am to 5:00pm; Salary range: $64,872 - $97,308 annually; Location: Marquam Hill campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The RN, Leave Administration effectively provides leave case management for employees of OHSU Healthcare within company and regulatory guidelines. This position may assume the roles of educator, administrator, researcher and consultant. The primary focus is leave case management utilizing highly developed critical thinking skills. The goals of the position may include: control and minimize the cost of the absence; promote optimal recovery and minimal lost work time; advise of Disease Management programs for at-risk employees; provide effective counseling of disabled employees and appropriate referrals and/or treatment alternatives; provide health care service resources that promotes, improves and manages health care within the resources available; may collaborate with employees, physician?s and other healthcare professionals to establish realistic goals and activities to guide both the employees and providers in implementing care with a goal of successful return to work, consistent with physician recommendations and any application and applicable OHSU policies through communication with employees, physicians, Managers and Human Resources Consultant. This position will provide educational components surrounding Healthcare Mission employee?s FMLA/OFLA, other approved employee leave and return to work programs. The RN, Leave Administration will support Management in the grievance process related to FMLA/OFLA, other leaves and in the return to work program. This position will be expected to analysis Leave and Disability laws and best practices for use in labor negations. The RN, Leave Administration will report to the Program Manager, Leave Administration and will work within the Human Resources Healthcare Mission at Oregon Health and Science University.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Graduate of accredited nursing program. Active unrestricted Oregon Registered Nurse license. Five (5) years clinical nurse experience with strong clinical background in at least one or more of the following: Medical/Surgical, Occupational Health, Rehabilitation, Psychiatric, Critical Care, Public Health, Emergency Room, and Orthopedic. Minimum one (1) year experience in Human Resources, Employee Health or Risk Management. Previous Leave Administration Experience. Experience in Nurse Case Management. Experience in Disability Case Management; Thorough knowledge of FMLA, OFLA, and other state and federal leave programs.
