Schnitzeris a 100 year old publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. <BR>General Position Summary:<BR>The Field Sales Trainer is responsible for leading the development of sales training content, delivering training to field store/sales leadership and Customer Service Associates, and assisting field staff in remaining compliant with sales processes, procedures, and policies. This role is responsible for ensuring the field sales team has the knowledge needed to execute all of the retail sales initiatives and merchandising programs, and for ensuring field sales teams are in compliance with sales processes, procedures and policies. The individual will train field sales personnel on merchandising initiative guidelines, value selling techniques, and the 5 Step Selling Process. This role will also be responsible for training the field sales organization related to new products or merchandising initiatives, ensuring a successful rollout, and tracking performance of these initiatives. In addition, this role will assist in creating, setting up, and managing various web-based sales training initiatives, such as a web-based part identification training course. In addition, this individual will assist with integration of new acquisitions or new store developments.<BR><BR>Must be open to 75% travel. Must be open to working in a recycling/salvage yard environment. Must have strong car parts knowledge. This is not your typical classroom setting sales trainer role. Retail management experience strongly preferred.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>* Creates easy to understand training content and material for delivery to operations leadership and sales staff. Content must be written in very simple terms, such that employees with minimal education can easily grasp and understand.<BR>* Delivers training content to the field via web-based meetings, individual training sessions, group training sessions. Must be comfortable with web-based meeting technology (such as WebEx), and comfortable leading training sessions in front of small groups of people.<BR>* Evaluates compliance of store sales team with company merchandising guidelines and sales </font></td>
