<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Sales Training Specialist<BR>Location: United States-Oregon-Portland Area<BR>Other Locations: United States-Nebraska-Omaha<BR>The Training Specialist is a great career opportunity to support various sales training projects for the Americas sales organization (1,500 people). This role will be responsible for instructional design, development and facilitation of training topics for Sales and Account Management at Yahoo!. In this critical role, you will work collaboratively with the Yahoo! Sales Learning & Development (YSL&D) leadership to develop training and materials that support the marketplace. Training deliverables will need to be developed in various formats.<BR><BR>You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and partner with other teams in the NAR organization (Product, Engineering and Marketing) to develop learning materials. You will also partner with YSL&D management to conceptualize, strategize, and project manage the implementation of learning materials around processes, migration, and product needs. <BR><BR>Responsibilities include:<BR><BR>* Develop and deliver training curriculum and learning strategies using strong instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles<BR>* Develop and design performance support materials, such as facilitator and participant guides, reference guides, sales tools and/or job aids<BR>* Utilize measurement & reporting methodologies to demonstrate the change in behavior and/or performance <BR>* Work with other members of the YSL&D team to roll out product launches and other training efforts. <BR>* Collaborate with SMEs and internal partners to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the sales training programs<BR>* Manage multiple training projects, often in short time frames, and remain flexible to changing priorities<BR>* Facilitate training in various formats and using a variety of training techniques via instructor-led/classroom or virtual learning (e.g., Adobe Connect or similar distance-learning technology)<BR>* Conduct needs analyses and employ methods to observe dynamics to identify relevant issues for training <BR>* Prepare the sales teams for any product launches impacting the team and providing post-launch support through troubleshooting and follow-up<BR><BR>Minimum Job Qualifications:<BR>* BA/BS degree or certification in instructional design technical or creative writing, education, or related experience<BR>* Minimum 2 years experience in sales or technical curriculum development and in class delivery <BR>* Proven presentation and facilitation skills and/or hands-on experience in a support environment<BR>* Demonstrate ability to design and write technical training course materials following instructional design processes, including appropriate self-testing exercises and quizzes<BR>* Demonstrate ability to think creatively by taking words to graphics that are effective and retained<BR>* Demonstrate ability to independently work under aggressive timelines while managing multiple projects in parallel. <BR>* Must be able to prioritize </font></td>
