<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">SAP Technical Architect<BR>Location: Corporate - Portland, OR - Headquarters<BR>Requisition Number: 5183<BR># of openings: 1<BR><BR><BR>Description<BR><BR><BR>General Position Summary:<BR>The SAP Technical Architect is a key contributor to the success of Columbia’s Supply Chain Transformation strategic efforts. This position is primarily concerned with the technical aspects of the project such as development, data conversion, infrastructure, technical design and systems integration. <BR><BR>Essential Functions/Responsibilities:<BR>* Provide technology and architectural leadership, strategic direction and long-term vision for the SAP investment; inspire creative solutions for maximizing the value contribution of that investment.<BR>* Grow the collaboration, efficiency and quality of transforming functional requirements into innovative and sustainable technical solutions; Employ process tools and measures to provide transparency to that process.<BR>* Represent the Technology perspective as one of four voting members of the SAP Project Leadership Team; Voting PLT is responsible for strategy, execution, phase gate evaluation, go/no-go decisions, release planning, scope control and executive report-out to Operating Committee and Steering Committee.<BR>* Act as SAP Solutions Architect, ensuring proposed processes and solutions adhere to best practices, solid design principles and sustainability. Champion continuous improvement, driving inefficiencies out of implemented processes and solutions.<BR>* Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to architectural artifacts such as policy, standards, guidelines, roadmaps, and maturity models.<BR>* Through quality improvement processes and techniques, ensure that SAP-integrated business processes are monitored, measured, and sustained at a level sufficient to fulfill service level agreements.<BR>* Provide insight on new SAP technology and how it might improve CSC’s current environment.<BR>* Provide thought-leadership to support and guide the SAP AFS development team and other SAP-related technical teams.<BR>* Perform other duties as assigned. <BR>* This position is the technical lead for the SAP project and is a senior technical voice directly accountable to the project. This position develops, monitors, and enforces the SAP technical roadmap and contributes to the overall enterprise architecture strategy. <BR><BR>Specific Job Skills:<BR>* Possesses expert knowledge on how SAP supports business processes<BR>* Thorough understanding of core SAP modules and business processes they support<BR>* Must have detailed technical understanding of the SAP AFS industry solution<BR>* Experienced in integrating SAP with other non-SAP applications. <BR>* Experienced in the development and communication of architectural artifacts such as policy, standards, guidelines, roadmaps, and maturity models.<BR>* Experience with SAP system landscape management including environment design (numbers, types, relationships between them), change and release management, transport management, and refresh.<BR>* Key contrib </font></td>
