<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Senior Accountant - (LS40467)<BR><BR><BR>Job Requisition ID: LS40467<BR>Job Title: Senior Accountant<BR>Job Type: Full-time<BR>Location: Portland, OR<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Description:<BR><BR><BR>SUMMARY<BR><BR>The Senior Accountant maintains financial records and prepares routine financial reports for the business unit in a timely and accurate manner, performs additional research and/or analysis as required to assure adequate controls, reporting, and financial performance capabilities.<BR><BR><BR>RESPONSIBILITIES<BR><BR>· Performs moderately complex accounting activities including income and balance sheet statements, and various other accounting reports.<BR>· Utilize SAP Billing and Accounts Receivable processes.<BR>· Performs account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of reports and financial statements for statutory and regulatory reporting.<BR>· Maintains internal contact with various departments, including other accounting sections, to verify the accuracy of numbers and discuss any discrepancies.<BR>· Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.<BR>· Recommends accounting methods and procedures.<BR>· Compiles standard and ad-hoc monthly and annual accounting reports.<BR>· Monitor and establish SOX controls to assure proper compliance.<BR>· Oversee the work of other Accountants and Billing Specialists.<BR><BR><BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS<BR><BR>· Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in accounting, finance or equivalent field.<BR>· Minimum of three years accounting experience including general ledger<BR>· Working knowledge of accounting theory and principles.<BR>· Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills managing a team in fast paced and active environment<BR>· Demonstrated customer service skills to both external and internal Clients and the desire to innovate to provide best-in-class services.<BR>· Ability to make decisions and resolve problems using experience and professional judgment, and make effective recommendations regarding the use of funds, equipment, and people.<BR>· Solid PC skills (MS Office especially Excel, Word and Access).<BR>· Working knowledge of SAP required.<BR>· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).<BR>· Organization skills permitting the effective management of several concurrent projects and priorities.<BR>· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.<BR>· Ability to work extended hours as needed.<BR><BR>Fiserv, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace. </font></td>
