Reporting to Weld Bay Supervisor, incumbent will be responsible to perform new fabrication and welding repairs.<BR><BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR><BR>Perform general welding repairs<BR>Fabricate new components from shop drawings and/or blueprints<BR>May occasionally perform fabrication and welding at customer job sites<BR>Follow manufacturer and company installation and service guidelines to ensure quality work<BR>Keep area clean throughout day to maintain safe working area; observe all safety procedures and policies<BR>Communicate with internal and external customers to promote positive work environment<BR>Attend scheduled safety and departmental meetings<BR>Perform tasks in a timely manner; work overtime as workload requires<BR>Perform computer related duties using MS Office (Word, Excel); Lotus Notes Email, and Mainframe Dealer Business System (DBS).<BR>Job Requirements :<BR><BR>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS:<BR><BR>One-to-two years of welding experience<BR>Ability to fabricate from drawings and templates, comprehend schematics, and other technical literature<BR>Ability to perform basic computer tasks in MS Word and Excel, Lotus Notes Email, and mainframe computer system<BR>Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra, and geometry<BR>Ability to use tooling such as: measuring and hand tools, impact wrenches, plasma cutter, metal shear, band saw, hydraulic press, torch, track torch, etc.<BR>Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending<BR>Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to task being performed<BR>Ability to work around moving machinery in a shop environment subject to noise, heat, cold, dust, and chemicals, etc.<BR>Possess excellent work habits, attention to detail and quality of work, excellent punctuality and attendance essential<BR>Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record<BR>Ability to work overtime when workload necessitates                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            </font></td>
